One Pot Rasam Rice


Ingredients:

Tomatoes -2

tamarind water- 1cup

garlic- 4cloves

red chillies-2

pepper corns- 4

fennel seeds/saunf- 1tbsp

cumin- one spoon

rasam powder- 2tbsp

rice- 1cup

water- 2cup

salt - to taste

Method:

1. Heat the pressure cooker/one pot cooker with 2 spoons of oil.

2. for tempering add mustard, cumin,red chilli,pepper,saunf
and garlic.

3. add tomatoes, rasam powder ,salt and cook for a minute

4. finally add tamarind water and let it boil for few minute

5. add 1 cup rice,2 cup water and put it in sim for 15minutes

6. Finally garnish it with curry leaves and coriander leaves


Easy vegetable biryani/ vegetable  rice 



Ingredients:

Servings-2

1. Raw rice/Basmati rice- 1cup(water 2cups)

2. chopped carrot, beans,green peas,potato- 1cup

3.green chillis-5nos

4.ginger garlic paste- 2spoon

5.chopped onion/tomato- 1/2 cup

6. cloves,bay leaves, cinnamon, cardamon(for sauting)

7. salt- 3tbsp

8. curd/yogurt- 1/2 cup

Procedure:

1. Rinse and soak rice for 15min

2. In a pressure cooker,add oil for seasoning and add the
    seasoning ingredients

3. Add onions and green chilli, ginger garlic paste

4. add salt and add tomatoes

5. once the tomatoes are cooked add chopped vegetables
    and curd

6. once the vegetables turns mushy, add the measured water for rice

7. Finally add the rice when the water boils and place the lid and whistle for
   cooker

8. cook it in sim for 15minutes

9. After 15minutes, vegetable biryani is ready
